A few days in Troon. Positive: It has an excellwnt location. The enclosed garden for the dog. It was clean and comfortable. Negative: The rubbish was full. We did find the other bins for recycling eventually but there wasn't clear instructions.

Positive: Spotless , great comfy beds and pillows ,good location , all you needed Negative: Maybe have a sign nearer the outside of the lane to let people know where it is.

Disappointing for the price - expected a higher standard of cleaning and fit out. Positive: Great location and good garden for dogs. Negative: It is not kitted out for 4 people. If you advertise 2 double beds, you expect there to be room for 4 people to live comfortably during their stay. This was not the case. A 2 person sofa and a single chair was not enough for 4 people to watch TV in comfort, and the lack of storage in the bedrooms was a problem - only very limited places to store clothes. The standard of cleaning was also poor - it had not been professionally cleaned. In particular, the bathroom and living room had several areas which were very dusty, and there was a dark mark on the inside of the toilet. The kitchen utensils were flimsy and the baking trays were filthy and not useable. There was a dirty mug in the cupboard and some congealed coffee granules in a pot on the side which were not useable.
