The Wee House -Coorie Doon Stays

The Wee House is just perfect! Positive: Location of ‘The Wee House’ is fantastic and the host were easy to reach out to, but we didn’t need any help as everything was perfect. There is an enclosed small back garden which was perfect for a quick run out before a proper walk along the shorefront and the beach was a stones throw away. Couldn’t ask for a better location in Troon. We also had everything we needed and Morrison’s was close enough for a quick run for anything else we needed. Check out the Lookout cafe and Drift Cafe (both dog friendly and have pup treats!) and the latter has excellent food choices! We also love Dough pizza, so make sure to check them out too. Negative: Our stay was perfect! Only drawback was the bunk-beds bumped the wall when anyone moved, but a quick towel bumper fixed that issue!

Nice wee place for a weekend stay Positive: The location was excellent. The facilities were good, had all we needed for our stay. Negative: Wasn't too many negatives. The shower when put up at the top, when in use, slid down the pole.

I had a wonderful relaxing time in this wee house and view from the living room window- breathtakin. Positive: The wee house was in an excellent position for the beach and town centre 5 minutes away. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The garden was definitely a bonus for having our dog with us . Negative: To be honest the patio door was an issue trying to open it. I think that needs to be addressed as well as the electric shower cord in the bathroom(it’s very worn). Saying this I would still come back as it was so central to everything. Just a wee gem of a house .

A lovely relaxing short break in a very comfortable accommodation. Would highly recommend. Positive: The location is superb literally 2 minutes from the beach and a 10 minute walk into the town. The sea view from the sitting room is amazing. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped for all your needs. I’ve never seen such a well equipped kitchen in an Air b&b before. The bed was comfortable with lovely crisp white linen sheets and duvet covers. The towels were also pristine white and fluffy. All in all we had a comfortable enjoyable stay and the weather was fabulous. We enjoyed using the enclosed back garden and our little dog loved the freedom of roaming around in it. The area is very tranquil and relaxing. Our neighbour was very welcoming and friendly. The check in was easy the email from Gill and David gave us all the details and information needed. Thank you for a lovely stay we will certainly return. Negative: The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been a blackout blind or curtains as I’m a very light sleeper and the room was a bit bright early morning for me.
