Clubhouse Cottage on Eden View Estate

A pleasant stay made up for by the views. Positive: It was well located and had lovely features. Very quiet and peaceful . Large porch to sort yourself and the dog out on leaving and arriving. Beautiful views. There was a Washing machine and microwave. This came in handy as found the cooking appliances very slow. Good towels. There was a hairdryer. Nightlights in hallway. Huge garden with fabulous views. Negative: The track leading up to the property had pot holes and pulling out of the drive had limited view of the road and the oncoming traffic. Porch had a very loose and rattly window (and given the storms that weekend, this made for a very noisy weekend and felt like something out of a gothic horror. Ended up stuffing kitchen roll between gaps to try and buffer the noise. Mattress on double bed sagged. Meant rolled into the middle. There was a lovely log burner but no information on how to use it. The appliances were very slow to heat up (toaster/oven/hob). Didn’t feel best quality. Was on a working farm but sadly saw no animals.

Positive: Great location and cottage was really well decorated and had everything we needed. Great enclosed garden for our dog. We enjoyed the wood burner.

Gorgeous and well-kept property Positive: The house was beautiful and they clearly love dogs as it was very dog-friendly. Absolutely immaculate and in a very quiet location. Negative: Wasn't a huge issue but the pillows were a bit high. Not a big issue but we'd take our own pillows if we returned :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely stay at Eden View Estate Positive: We had a lovely stay at Eden View Estate. The location was absolutely amazing so close to St Andrews town centre, making it really convenient for exploring everything the area has to offer, while still feeling peaceful and private. The cottage itself was lovely and had a great sense of privacy, which made our stay very relaxing. Everything was spot on overall and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I also really appreciated the team accommodating my request for a 12pm check-out. It was very helpful and made the end of our stay much more relaxed. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Eden View Estate and would definitely book again. The location, privacy and peaceful setting made it a great place to stay, and I’d happily return. Negative: The only thing I would mention is that the cleanliness wasn’t quite to the standard I would have expected, although this didn’t take away from us enjoying our stay.

Positive: Good location just outside St Andrews. We had cows as neighbours. As we were off the main road, we had no issue with traffic or associated noise. Peaceful at night. Loved the place.
